What our patients are saying

We're proud to get great feedback from our patients. Register now and see for yourself why patients say we're the best GP surgery in the area.

Very pleased with my experience at the surgery. The GP made an appointment the next day at FPH. My issue has now been identified and I'm now undergoing treatment that will resolve my medical issue.
July 2023
I have been a patient with giffard drive for 30 years, and consider myself lucky to be a patient there. There has been a change of doctors over the past few years and without exception they have always been thorough and reassuring.
June 2023
6 weeks after a fall, the pain in neck & shoulders unbearable + despite best efforts, increasing. Dr's gave me an amazing acupressure session and guidance on how to do it myself.
December 2022
I know during covid it was difficult to have many face to face appointments but for the older generation a reassurance from the doctor means a lot and taking a picture not always that easy. So very pleased to now be able to see my doctor face to face.

Both the doctor and nurse have been polite, lovely and friendly. The admin team was also great. I wish all clinics are like this one.

How do I register with a GP for the first time?

If you haven’t registered with a GP in Farnborough before, we recommend using our online registration form. This is the same form we recommend that all patients use. It’s important to complete the form accurately to ensure your registration gets accepted.

Once you’ve registered, if you qualify for an NHS Health Check you will be invited to attend one. This allows you to take actions to reduce your risk of developing serious conditions like heart disease, stroke, kidney disease, type 2 diabetes and some types of dementia.

Your new patient health assessment includes a health questionnaire, a check to ensure any repeat medications are up to date, in-person observations (such as measuring your blood pressure, pulse check, and BMI), blood tests (if clinically necessary and you’re aged between 40 and 74), and a consultation with a healthcare assistant to discuss your overall health and wellness.

At the end of your assessment, you’ll receive personalised advice to help you enjoy a healthier life for longer. And if needed, we can also book you in for a follow-up consultation.
